WHO WE ARE

“It all began in 1973 when, for the first time, I went to see arally…” Thus was born the automotive passion of Valerio Comuzzi deus-ex-machine of the Arena Models of Verona, one of the most prestigious brands in the production of miniature models.
His 1/43 scale creations have always received the success they deserve all over the world, not only for the quality of the reproductions, the wealth of details that sometimes border on almost obsessive perfection, but above all for the original choice of subjects. The precious collaboration with the “master” Stefano Adami, a very modest person for the level reached by his prototypes, allowed the Arena brand to establish itself even when the production choices appeared a little less original, as for example in the case of the Lancia Stratos . Conversely, this splendid model, which appeared on the market ten years ago, has also been able to win over enthusiasts and has established itself as a precise point of reference, thanks also to the stubbornness with which the Veronese couple was able to explore the history of the legendary rifle rally of Lancia, giving us new versions, each of which has been duly modified to respect the comparison with the original model.

Valerio Comuzzi was born in Verona, where he lives and works, on 4 December 1955: right near the city he was a spectator at the first edition of the Rally Due Valli and discovered his passion for rallies; a few years later, while he visits a motor show, he discovers a space dedicated to scale reproductions.
“I didn’t know it yet– continues Comuzzi –but I had combined my passion for racing cars with that for model cars. Until then I had mostly collected toys: I had never seen reproductions so faithful to the originals and so rich in detail. It was a real shock! I began to take a particular interest in the 1/43 scale and consequently I tried to find everything the market had to offer… Very little actually!”
