In 1979 the Daytona had several years of racing on its shoulders, nevertheless, it was still used brilliantly in the race. Equipped with aerodynamic modifications both at the front and at the rear, this car, with the number 65 and chassis 16407, was driven by Morton and Adamovicz at the 24 Hours of Daytona, concluding with a second place overall. Due to the death of owner Otto Zipper, the night before the race, a diagonal black ribbon on the front hood in mourning. (BBR BASE)
